Certainly of significant size.
Maybe the Member of the Inner Circle who devoured said sausage roll, will clarify?

A metre? Slight exaggeration. And decidedly smaller than one or two others going for the full English brekkie grin2

A thrilling weekend in the Alps, getting round a number of cols in "scavenger hunt" style with a group of other cars.

A lovely run to Lavenham to meet Themorganeer but th ice cream shops was closed scared

A quick executive decision brought us to the Horshoe Inn in Cockfield . Their website is here.

This is a lovely old fashioned pub with several real ales and pies for lunch. They even had steak & ale pudding. No wifi, no TVs & no juke box.

Suitably restored I headed home the twisty back ways via Stowmarket etc. I had intended to go via Krazy Horse for a lust but temporary traffic lights & roadworks in Bury were causing havoc so I avoided that.

Another excellent day trip during the FolkMog Dorset holiday. Morning and lunch at Somerset Cider Brandy, east of Yeovil. Their 20 year old brandy was something else 😜 followed by the best ploughman's lunch I've had in years, eaten in brilliant sunshine. Stills named from those popular in the 60's. Oh and yes that is a cardboard cutout of Joanna Lumley in the background, who confirmed their Perrier as better than Bolly wink

This followed by visit to Mapperley House and gardens where we were joined by local MSCC members.

Many thanks to Rob and Ali for excellent organising thumbs

Yes! ... indeed I have! ..... after an annoying delay due to being supplied some seat belts that weren't as advertised I fitted the replacements today and took her out for a shakedown spin round the local lanes .... aeroscreens and Mk4 goggles ... what a hoot to drive at 60 mph .... nothing fell off and got home under her own steam, so I declare that a success! joy .... temp gauge reading slightly high but steady as a rock .... checked with my laser/IR thermometer when I got back and block sitting at 83° and upper rad tank at 70° so, as I suspected, it's the gauge over-reading ... can sort that at my leisure.

Pic taken on her safe return.

Will let her stretch her legs a bit more over the next few days 🙂
