I honk on sharp blind bends. Brought up in Devon where the lanes don't give any chance of mercy. Similar ones exist in Suffolk Living in a narrow country lane near a bend I really wish people would not that. It does seem to be dying out a bit fortunately

If you are on the Amalfi costal road with it's 100 foot drops and blind bends be aware that the coaches hit the horn before the blind bends as well. It does not mean be aware, it means coming through. I drive with the window open even though they are big horns. I would not mind finding out what model horns they are as they are GOOD. The locals hear it and stop with swing room for the coach.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I've been driving for 60 years and never heard anyone sounding their horn to warn that they were there, but I do live in Essex ! Which is fine if everyone drove a suitable speed on twisty single track roads. I'm forever on edge on the many such lanes we have in Norfolk with the image of white van man, wheels locked up on typical gritty surface, appearing round a corner (again) always in the back of my mind
