Its very different to the Mustang and Transit intake- its much shallower to fit under the Morgan bonnet...

I guess we will never know Simon but that isn't a cheap moulding. Look at the low cost filter housing from fibre glass on the S1 Roadster. My guess is it is used by Ford on one of the many uses of the engine.


Moulds like this are also often made in pieces to make machining easier. I guess it is possible MMC only need a small bit rejigging.

The 3.7's come in crated and already assembled from Power Torque Eng Ltd, but don't waste your time asking them as they are totally un-responsive to tech queries

Or, in the case of the airbox inlet, rough modification with a hacksaw!

The top section has the Morgan emblem moulded into it, so isn’t it likely this would be a customised top mould ?
