Bonsie,
you have done an outstanding bit of engineering proud: at the Aircraft museum we have a lot of them, going back to the early 1960s version to the modern from the Tornado.
I presume it isn;t functional, though knowing your skills I'm not going assume so!

Down at BDAC we have a number of such seats.
They are uncomfortable, unless worn with parachute pack and survival pack,
They are surprisingly heavy.
The seller's price is optimistic, unless of course, it works.
