Duly corrected. Series what? Sorry David, just back from Prescott. I'm a bit of a pedant when it comes to Land Rovers - as in pure LRs, not the spin offs (Range Rover, Disco etc.). Series 3 Land Rover. Defender name did not arrive until late 1990 for the '91 model year, though there have been people at LR Marketing who insisted the Land Rover has always been called Defender since first shown to the public Easter of 1948. But then what would marketing departments know??

Haha Graham no problem. I should have known better - especially as I have friends that are:series 1 club members and have multiple early LRs. Either way it was a great image
