Was this pic taken at the Ørnesvingen viewing platform overlooking Geiranger Fjord?

I was that “nutter”, wearing the right clothing is the key, 120 miles round trip and I was perfectly dry the inside of the car was another matter but did dry out overnight. I noticed as soon as the rain stopped most people left, when I went back to the car at 11.45 It was all on its own.

July 2013 when I was there. Were you headed for the North Cape?

Lovely morning here for a drive through the New Forest (17C, about the warmest November day I can recall, and six weeks to Christmas Eve !)

A beautiful 68°F sunny day here. I had work to do on the house, but the road called. A 40 minute drive around the reservoirs was just what I needed. Especially since next week the temps drop with highs in the 40s and. Possibility of snow. Probably the last drive of the year.

Sorry, too much fun to take pictures.

Cross country drive to drop off a guitar to have a switch changed. 20 miles each way. Sun in my eyes all the way there and quite slippery roads on the southern half of the carriageway that was in shade most of the day from the hedgerows. No such issues coming back!

After a slight interagnum Tony and Bertie are back so Belle and I joined them on a drive to Southwold. The rain was biblical going out so it was hoods up. The A12 was closed by a crash at Yoxford so we headed for Chelsea on Sea (aka Aldeburgh) for fish and chips and some superb Addams.
The return was more fun. Dry but with wet roads and a setting sun but lots of twisty stuff via Snape.
