110 mile round trip to Wolf Performance to collect a front spring compressor or as Cain describes them, a stub axle retainer. A bit extravagant as could have had it posted but needed to give Morton a run and the man maths stacked up. The cunning diversion on the way back through Newmarket, to avoid massive tail back due A14 roadworks, was tempered by finding high street dug up! The diversions worked though. Top down, dry roads and not a drop of rain

Yes I have. Had new carbs fitted on my high mileage +8. HS6s had pumped 12,000 gallons of fuel, rebuilt before but worn out, but sourced a new pair via Brian at Techniques. Car hasn't driven this well for years. Thirty great miles this afternoon.
