My Misses has asked me what I want for xmas. For once, I'm stumped. I cant think of anything I actually want this year ! This is most unusual as normally I ask for all sorts of stuff. What have you asked for? I like tech stuff, science stuff, space stuff, any cool stuff out there to ask for ? My daughter is buying me a tesla coil. Lol, That should be fun. I will post results here, If I live long enough

Santa was going to give me a Type 59, but we've asked him to convert that into 100,000 generators for Ukraine.

I have asked for a Sakuto kitchen knife, Damascus blade with abalone handle/ I love my cooking and a decent knife is essential.

Being very lucky we have too much stuff already tbh so - Salvation Army Christmas Appeal and local Foodbank contributions.

My Mrs bought me a new winter coat (M65 style - bargain at £65) as I destroyed the last one.
I have been forbidden from wearing it while doing work outside on the Mog for reasons described in first sentence. That said, we don't really 'do' christmas, so I had it a week ago,

I want/need nothing materialistic: I have everything I could possibly need.
Token gifts that make me smile are fine, but as has been said, think of your favourite charity. There are thousands out in the hard world of the UK that really need help.

Around 10 years ago, we declared a family amnesty on Christmas gifts for the adults. The under 16’s get vouchers from me.
Instead, we make donations to charities. (British Heart Foundation, Local Hospices, Redwings Horse Sanctuary and The Donkey Sanctuary).

Similar to Paul, grandchildren get presents and adults get one secret Santa present, maximum spend £20 and must be as daft as possible.
It has provided hoots of laughter since we introduced the idea.
