It is a bit annoying, given the excitement and expectations we grew up with, there is little to nothing you really need/want left in this advertising driven world. In some cases, those you look forward to sending a gift to are no longer with you. I wish for only good memories in the minds of those people.

As per Peters comment.

For us, I think Alistair has summed it up. Without wishing to seem too pathetic, I am happy just to share a couple of days with my Son and his family but aslo I would really like for Peace and for us all to be nice to each other-------fat chance!!!

ooh, they look nice (without being ludicrously expensive)

I've been dropping hints all year about a decent set of knives, rather than the mix & match collection that's been collected over the years. I'm not sure I've been heard though.:-(

Other than surprise knives, buyers for both my cars would be a great present.
It's time for a change!

All our cutlery is on long term "loan" from British Airways Business Class..... nono

In the kitchen we have a set bought from Lakeland....much cheaper than the "posh kitchen shop" and the blades are, it seems, of the same quality.
Yes, they need sharpening regularly, but all good knives do.

Perfect for the Morgan owner, as the handles are ash.....!! joy

Just hoping nothing goes wrong to intrude on the couple of days of total idleness that are my annual gift to myself over xmas and boxing days .... I enjoy the novelty of doing nothing immensely at the time but by day 3 I'm off back out to the workshop itching to get on with something !! 🙂

If it was not for postal strikes making delivery uncertain, I would order a bunch of those for Christmas stockings.
