Looking at the number of posts under this title would seem to indicate rather a lot of interest...???

I wonder if it escapes the mind of the young lad that it seems his income may be largely dependant upon the sort of media interest he seems to have complained of since the night it killed his mother trying to escape from it...

As for my little thread on political thinking the last of which is geopolitical, it seems no one is interested...? What does that suggest relative to the averages of human nature... I wonder..?

George, I think we all feel protective of the Queens reputation even those of us that are not royalists, it is never a good thing to attack someone who will or cannot respond which was always the case with her hence the response to this thread.

To my mind the California pair and Randy Andy are bottom feeders, so why should I respect them let alone contribute to their numerous piles.

As far as politics goes after the Brexit debacle and the Blundering Doris followed up by the Trussed chicken and the unimaginative Screamer Starmer we have had a gut full of it for a few years, I know I have and choose not to read about it for pleasure and relaxation.

How about a nice referendum to form a republic? If it gets up with 52% they will have to do it, even if only 72% actually voted, that would be 37% of eligible voters in favour.

Over here there has always been the anti royal sentiment since they got rid of the Monarchy, H&M leaving the UK highlighted that with the Oprah interview bringing the race card to the fore. As the country is split down the two political party line so the H&M saga is split down the race line with M being a hero to that side of the line and H being the tag-along. The recent events at the Palace ignited the race card further with Netflix and M reveling in that bonus card. Certainly the first part of the self promotion/acting lessons program has not attracted anywhere near the attention the Oprah interview did which must leave a sour taste with Netflix. It would also appear that Hollywood has disowned them. On a personal note I have not and will not be watching the programs but from what I hear and read it appears to be a self indulging broadcast of their diaries. It also highlights to me that H is a bitter individual with some very deep rooted Psychological issues that require help before he self destructs.

I think it's only a matter of time before we evolve into some sort of republic, but really don't see any talent or leadership in the ruling elite.

It's also time the House of Lords was either abolished or radically reduced in size.

On a weird footnote to my previous post; under the present constitution of Australia if Charles ceased to be King of England for some reason he would still be King of Australia and as such could move to Australia and take over the constitutional duties of the Governor General, who is, in effect, his proxy in Australia.
