A few of us in our club have started thinking about a trip over to tour the factory, and most likely do the Morgan Driving Experience.
I'm looking for other ideas to go along with it. Most of the group has been over before, except me. I imagine we fly into London. Spend a full day there. Take the train to Malvern to pick up the car and start the tour. And then back to London.
That's the basic trip. The drive is 4 days, I think it runs Monday to Friday. We might stretch the trip out to 10 days.
I we do, what else should we do? I was thinking we could just rent Morgans and put our own trip together, but still visit the works.
For now, I'm thinking mid-June as the time of year, but open to suggestions on that too.
Any ideas are welcome.

Mid June would be a good time. As to things to include - I'll limit myself to 7 suggestions:
Stratford on Avon Blenheim Palace (Churchill birthplace + he is buried in the village churchyard IIRC) Haynes Motor Museum at Sparkford (others can comment on the food there!) Fleet Air Arm Museum - Yeovilton Stonehenge National Motor Museum - Beaulieu RAF Museum at either Cosford (nr Wolverhampton) or Hendon (London)
You can easily spend 2-3 days in London. You might consider taking in a show whilst there.

Thanks, Paul. Great suggestions.
I'm about an hour from Broadway in NYC so we see a couple of shows a year.

If Stonehenge is busy with tourist buses then try Avebury ... atmospheric stones and the old village give a real feel for how the landscape has been inhabited for millenia ... and you can just stroll through them at will which is a plus. Personally my favourite of the two on balance
As petrolheads try a race day (or part) at Shelsley Walsh .... oldest motorsport course in the world and car heaven on a sunny day ... British Hillclimb Championship round on June 3/4 I think (some of the fastest cars/drivers in the world doing jaw-dropping speed up what is pretty much a country lane) ... or if there's a classic weekend in your time frame that might be good ... place oozes atmosphere and history and you're right in amongst the cars and drivers

There is a racing school at Shelsley on June 13th, and all you need is a street legal car. I wonder if there's anything in the Morgan rental agreement about that.

If you are into motor racing, Thruxton circuit in north Hampshire holds their Historic race weekend on 17th/18th June https://thruxtonracing.co.uk/racing/historicAnd if you make it as far as Beaulieu in southern Hampshire (about an hour's drive from Thruxton), the National Motor Museum is brilliant and they also regularly hold motoring events. Their calendar for June 2022 shows: Sunday 18th June, The Custom & American Show (that would be ironic !) "Custom fans and American car enthusiasts will be making a bee-line for Beaulieu on Father’s Day, for this colourful celebration of eye-catching cars and bikes" and Sunday 25th June, Simply Jaguar "Classic and modern Jaguars will be taking their places in this impressive display"
