It would appear that they also use an S&S engine, but the front portion of the motor is exposed through a clear plate. To me this is something that should be incorporated into the Morgan design. Maybe this could be made aftermarket. Seems that having some of the mechanism showing could make the M3W even more captivating.

Hmm, food for thought, I wonder what they use, could be laminated glass? Perspex or even Lexan would probably be too flexible.

It shouldn't be too difficult to make a panel to cover those gears........

On a motorbike I guess that window is sideways to the direction of travel and the only risk is dropping it.

On the 3 wheerler it faces forwards & I would be worried of stone damge causing a very expensive failure.

Maybe put a sexy bit of mesh over it, like those headlight covers that are available, or even stick some of that clear plastic film on that is used to protect parts of the bodywork from stone chips?

My first thought was also the fact that it would be more exposed on a Morgan than it would be on a motorbike, but I presume that there must be a way to make something like that work. Just some subtle aesthetics that would go a long way. Would bring the Morgan a bit back to its roots when the original engines had parts that you could watch move while you ran them.

Wouldn't it become opaque from the inside in no time? Just think what the inside of a timing belt cover looks like when you take it off.

If you really must have an S&S engine at least choose something with a bit of style. (Click on picture to link to web page)

Note: Duu in Milanese dialect is Two (for two cylinder/two seater), Deperlù (De per lù) means by himself or all alone, Conlatusa (Con la tusa) means with the girlfriend.

Vun, the name of the single cylinder model, simply means One.

CR & S Motorcycles operates in the same way as Morgan. You can choose whatever finish and options you like and they build the bike for you.

Actually I prefer the Vun. The Duu is too much American muscle bike for me!
