If you want to sell the car you have two options :
Sell her by yourself at the price you want to have , the car is still on warranty , and the price for a my2023 has increased.
Go to a morgan dealer to ask if the car could be exposed in their showroom , at your price . If the car is sold the dealer takes for exemple 6 percent + vat .
That s how i made it for two cars in Belgium.

As according to natural progression/drift on TM it seems brake issues have drifted into car sales, that being the case can I respectfully suggest my recent ramble as of circa 14:00hrs today 26th Jan 03 in the thread Morgan selling experience, might just be worth a read if you are thinking of selling a vehicle...? BTW I have very little actual experience of selling, I just tend to wander around the web passing time these days.... Whether fake news or not, might I suggest you do a little research yourselves...?

No need whatsoever to apologise thierry, I have caused thread drift on many occasions myself...It is part of the culture on TM if not for Morganeers in general..

Thierry 242, it’s not a true Morgan run unless you take a wrong route 😉

I refer to my earlier post of the 23rd January.
I have made inquiries and looked under the bonnet. Plus Four CXs without AC have one water radiator and this was attached to the swirl pot when the latter was fitted. I am told that this original radiator was a 2 core radiator and the new one now fitted is a 3 core radiator (presumably better able to cater for any residual thermal or other shock).
I suggest that all who have had a swirl pot fitted check for water leaks regularly and also check that any new radiator is a 3 core radiator or at least and improvement on the one fitted when the car left the factory.
I recognise that an experienced motor engineer/mechanic may wish to comment on the above. In any event it seems unlikely MMC will ever explain in clear terms why an improved radiator was not fitted when the swirl pot was fitted given the apparent cumulative effect of thermal or other "shock" over the period of use of the vehicle.
I note that owners of pre CX models have had radiators replaced but they appear to have been isolated incidents. The additional cores would have little effect on thermal shock resistance as that's (allegedly) been caused by the thermostat opening suddenly as the system sees high load and sudden temp rise My experience of replacing radiators with uprated versions with additional cores (& hence fins) only really does a couple of things, increases coolant capacity in the system and exposes more area to the airflow to increase cooling, eg, when fitting a race engine into a car with very limited space to increase the width & height of radiator

I note that owners of pre CX models have had radiators replaced but they appear to have been isolated incidents. It appears that many of these plastic/aluminium radiators fail eventually at the interface between the two materials. Unlike the CX issue though you get a few years of trouble free motoring until this happens although, conveniently for MMC, after the warranty has run out Also of note is the same OE rad was used across the whole Classic range coping with power outputs from 110 to 280 bhp, so clearly the Roadster was the most stressed. Mine failed after 3+ years and close to 18,000 miles for example but was almost a welcome event as the cure was a far superior third party all aluminium fit and forget solution. To this end some have the upgrade to pre-empt failure or even from new, as I remember discussing this with Dan at KH who offered to fit one at pdi if I supplied. It amazes me with the CX data MMC now must have that a final solution appears still not on the horizon especially for those having had up to four replacements, presumably on each occasion with the latest "improved" rad version.

Whilst it is true that residuals have taken a bit of a drop, due perhaps to recall issues, price hikes and inflation, it is all about supply & demand. In the summer the afcatory will begin supplying the USA and the wait for new Plus Fours will be much longer. Consequently, I suspect residuals will improve towards the end of 2023.

I have the confirmation that the waranty is extented 24 months each time the radiator has been changed. This is for the radiator only not for the rest of the car (30 months)

This is for the radiator only not for the rest of the car (30 months) I note with interest that you have a 30 month warranty? I assume this includes the extension for the brake recall? Regardless of this, it seems in the country in which the cars are built we are only entitled to a 12 month warranty. Is this one our governments promised Brexit ‘benefits’? For such an expensive car with multiple foibles, a 12 month warranty in this day and age is pitiful and insulting.
