Fitted the Optimate 5 hard wired in this morning, hopefully wont get caught out in the next cold snap.

On strike today so did my stint on the picket line this morning. Reassembled on of the Strombergs on the Plus 4. Got it started and set the idle on it, syncro'd the carbs but still running rich and fouling the plugs on acceleration. Needles are correct for a 3069 carb (2H) so next on the list would be check the float heights.
Got it hot enough to change the oil so dropped that and changed the filter - much easier since I converted to a spin off filter. Didn't have a replacement sump washer so annealed the old one on the gas hob
Bled the brakes and set the handbrake up.
Just awaiting amended logbook from Swansea before I can put it in for test

Popped over to a friends today to fit him some replacement press studs in the interior, bit fiddly to hold all the components in place - but very satisfying to help a fellow Mog owner
