I started out at 3/3 with my AVO's, but two up it would still bottom out at the rear when booting it on an uneven road, so now I'm on 4/4 clicks.

Miller's have just fitted Cerealsurfers secondhand Sapx shock I bought on TM. All I can say is they are big improvement over my old Konis.

Much smoother in general with far less bottom out of the shock.

I have Avo front shocks which I fitted in 2013 and have now done 20k. I notice oil misting around the shock tube. Is this a sign of them failing? Is there a way to tell if they need replaced or not? They are Avo (Rutherford by New Elms)
Thanks in advance Will

Sounds like they are starting to fail Will. Do they still work and respond to increased setting?

On mine tweaking them up a couple of clicks at a time then driving on a similar stretch of road I found a point where the front stopped moving up and down so much. For the first few hundred yards it seemed the suspension had become too firm but then after a mile or two I realised the ride was actually more comfortable because of such. I called it the sweet spot as it was so well defined. You can always back off a click or two to prove the point. YMMV
