Just watched this video. It's all very sterile & shiny. After two-and-a-half minutes he mentions the mechanicals. Surely prospective buyers (and that's who the video is supposed to appeal to) would have gone away.

Just looked at the brochure/price list and was amazed to see the plus 6 starts at £88k plus on the road costs. And the list/cost of the options is eye watering.
While the pound is weak I guess they are still attractive to overseas customers, but if things change, I wonder how much their customer base could shrink.

Yes, they are pricey - I specced-up a Plus Four at about £90k, and a Six at just over £108k. It’s a shame we have a new sofa - not much loose change to be found in the crevices…..

It does make quite a few of the earlier Plus Four models on the market at up to 30k cheaper than new appear to represent good value - likewise with the Six.
Like Martin I wonder how much their market share will shrink, certainly the high levels of stock at dealers should be giving cause for concern.

I've been privy to a few automotive market studies and customer feedback on the premium/luxury sector and you would be surprised to know most don't care as much about the mechanical bits as they do about the brand, craftsmanship etc.

That makes sense. If you go to visit Bentley in Crewe (recommended), the emphasis is on the craftsmanship and it appears that most of the customisation is around trim and leather.
