Hello out there! As I have told you in my previous threads I have been looking for a late +8 or a Roadster. Just returned back from UK I am now an owner of a Roadster 2004 with 5000 miles on the clock. The colour is Grahams favourite, Royal Ivory with red leather interior and burgundy hood and windows. I had it on pictures from a friend and as I know that pictures are not always the truth I told my wife, when I took the flight to UK, that I will probably be disappointed when I see it in real life. But I was not. It was even nicer than I could imagine. It had a lot of options as leather upholstery, wooden dashboard, Motolita steering wheel with the Morgan boss on it, spot lights, mohair hood, tonneau and windows, heated front screen, radio and CD (which I think is not useful in an open car) and several others things I do not remember at the moment. I bought the car from Roger Davies at Harpers Morgans. I will fetch the car in the middle of January and I am very excited. As I have a Morgan +4 1959 since 1983 I have no experience of this new cars and will be very happy to get any advice from you guys what to do when I get it home to Sweden. Are there any options for the car which I do not know of? I have heard of some part that should make the (I do not know what you call it) make the thing between the steeringwheel and the indicator look better (the one one the car right now looks lika a standard Ford or something). About the sound. I had a thread about "The sound of the Roadster" and when I drove the car I did not like the sound at all, even at 4000 revs. I decided to have a Librands sports sydtem as I want the car to sound like a sportscar. Any suggestions from you guys will be much appreciated. Ken in Sweden

Hello Dave Yes I have read some of your very interesting threads and I will continue to read all of them.I think it was in one of these threads I read about the thing, in front of the steering wheel, which I do not remember the name of. Anyway visiting BHM and Melvyn I happends to see these things. In BHM they were in leather and Rutters had some in wood. Though very expensive. But what do you not do for your Mog. Ken.

Congratulations on the new motor Ken! I hope your can stand the waiting time until collection! The part you are referring to is, I think, the cowl around the steering column. There are a number of options for making this look much better than standard. My '76 car only has a simple top cover - which makes testing and repairs easier... Look forward to seeing some in January

Thank you very much for your comments guys. Those of you who will look at pictures of the car can go to my blog. The easiest way to find the actual blog is to google "A very tempting Morgan". The blog is in swedish but there is a translater. But you do not need to read to see the pictures. Regards, Ken.
