I saw the gasoline one today and it did make me laugh.

This made me feel a little better, not to be rude to the farmer but nice to see more support re Paul O'Grady.

22,000 for the farmer and 90,000 for PO'G.

This made me smile too, thanks - Po'G was a lovely man and did much for the animal kingdom during his stay thumbs

Nobody is buying EV's to save newts (it's just a car), but for those bothered by facts, there are studies that show lifetime emissions are considerably lower:

Also worth noting that a Tesla M3 is about the same weight (lighter than some model variants) than a 3 series BMW. They're not causing pot holes, nor are there clouds of tyre dust (tyres last longer) or brake dust (brakes are rarely used) and LFP batteries don't use cobalt so no children died.... now what are the other myths?!

The next hurdle for cars will be the growing case of evidence that tyres and their resultant pollutants are creating a significant problem from the airborne particles they create especially in inner cities and when they enter the water systems.

interesting post John

I hear that some multi story car parks will have to exclude EVs as they are heavier than the design criteria

My 4 year-old has been learning Spanish all year but still can't say the word 'please', which I think is poor for four.

Interesting. A Tesla 3 is lighter than a BMW 3 Series and certainly lighter than an SUV. I guess the multistories are going to be empty.
