I have no clue if this man is known in the UK, but I like his kind of story telling around cars and people.

At 1:06:06
he tells about his positive experiences with a Morgan Threewheeler group who make a tour every year to France where a young British WW1 pilot died and his father had a memorial stone erected for his son in that field.

Thanks for the link Heinz, Rich is well known in the Morgan world it was he that did the Super 3 launch for MMC going back a bit.

I met him and his wife at Goodwood Revival a few years back and he is a most likeable chap, he wrote four highly entertaining car adventure books which I have and they are written with typical English eccentricity "Motorpunk Auto Adventures" and if you can get your hands on them I think you would like them. Found them here..
He has a site here..

Thank you Richard, I didn't know it but he presented it fantastically and so vividly. It's those extra little stories like the one with the owl (which I definitely can't get:) that spice up the presentation and prove good taste.

Heinz, the stuffed owl story. There was always one in the roof space in the dispatch bay to keep other birds away from leaving their unwanted deposits on the finished cars.
The last time I visited it had been removed and was in what was a model of Peter Morgan's office, I believe it has all changed now under the Latin influence and history is being rewritten by Massimo etc..

Excuse the quality of my phone picture taken from my 1978 Morgan book.

The owl is still on display Rich (or was when I was last there in September). In the new "Archive Room" aka museum smile
