Always a treat to collect freshly painted parts (especially if red wink )

For my part I cleaned underneath of car whilst on ramp and painted over suspension parts with Kurust then Hammerite where underseal had peeled off and light rust was showing. Axle had previously been treated similarly so just touched up underneath.

I washed Belle yesterday & today greased the front (the wrong way round I know). I'm loving the Wolf remote greasing kit.

Got rid of AVON ZV7. After 4yrs and 30'000km. Plus4 2019. 26 psi/ 1.8 bar

They performed badly in the latest comparison of German ADAC and Swiss TCS. Rank 42 of 50 tires tested on wet and dry track. Amongst the worst chinese pack. "Bedingt empfehlenswert" = conditionally recommended.

I went for Bridgestone Turanza. Rank 4/50 and available in 205 60 R15.

the ADAC tests are very interesting and serious.👍🏼
my V6 roadster is equipped with 4 almost new Avon ZV7 tires.
I'm amazed at the low grades he gets.👎🏼
once again, I realize how morgan makes questionable choices on the equipment mounted on his cars....🤨

Cam cover gasket replace. Something I’ve been putting off as have been overthinking the issue. Cam solenoids cam sensors etc. not quite what I am used to.
Anyway my favourite morgan mechanic did it with me holding the ground steady. (Watching).
As a watch point whilst the gasket was really only a little wet offside corner, transpired that there was near an inch of oil in the trough of plugs 3 & 4.
Think the GDI engine cars are similar, on my 2011 4/4. You need to remove/ unplug the electrical connections by pressing down the lock tab front the 2 front cam solenoids then un bolting the single bolt that holds each of the 2 in position. Now pull the solenoids out of their orifice & check the O rings & replace if necessary. Note stop anything falling into the now gaping holes.
Unplug the rear 2 cam position sensors. The sensors DO NOT have to be removed. Pull the 4 plug HT leads off the spark plugs. They come out vertically & are about 3 inches long. Get the HT leads out of the way towards the rear. Remove the air breather line near side, it just pulls off.
Now you should see 12 bolts holding the cover down. Undo them, on sigma engine they remain attached to the cover. Lift the cover off & remove the gasket & clean everything. Ensure the head surface is clean & not scratched. Bail out any oil in the spark plug trough.
Fit new gasket to the cover then gently place the cover in position. Tighten the bolts in sequence. Ford recommend a spiral pattern bit by bit until recommended torque achieved. (Haynes say 10NM)
Finally replace the solenoids (torque 8NM)
Plug everything back in how you found it. Picture helps.
Job done.
Please take this as of interest not a definitive guide.

Strange as ZV7 's always seemed to be good all round road tyres, maybe tyre technology has taken a leap forwards, obviously they will age though.

Surprised at your tyre pressures too, 22-23 psi are fine on my heavier Roadster and more in keeping with factory recommendations. With 26 psi on a Plus 4 they wouldn't provide flat contact patch and would have worn in the centre of tread, not to mention the rough ride.

My new Morgan came with paint protection film applied in several places. But where the buckle of the bonnet strap rubs there wasn’t any and that left a scuff mark on the paint. Managed to polish out the scuff and fit a PPF patch myself.
