Thank you very much for your help.
The breakage of the luggage bridge happened, thank God, in a place where I could stop well and there was no other car behind us. The suitcase has a weight of about 35 kg and the sidescreens were also on the luggage bridge. Can something like this happen ?
I disposed of the luggage bridge and placed the suitcase behind the seats. Now we sit in the car like little kids and I have the steering wheel to my chest 😱

Sorry to see this part way through your holiday Clemens, totally unacceptable such a fracture with only 35Kg that's nothing and could have been a dreadful outcome.

Safe onward journey and a TM grouphug to you both.

That is very disappointing. Looking at that weld, it would have struggled with 5Kg - most definitely not fit for purpose!

Hoping it does not ruin your holiday.

Crikey, that should never have failed.. Sounds like a recall notice needed on those anchor point welds. You need to let the factory know ASAP. The whole rear luggage assembly is far from a cheap option!. I hope it does not put you off the holiday, its very upsetting when something like that happens at a time when you are meant to be relaxing and enjoying the car and holiday.. God only knows what my wife would say about it, I think the airwaves would be very hot to MMC.

Sorry for you. On the options list the fixation is one of the cheapest, i understand why.

Clemens, I hope you continue to enjoy your vacation with the Morgan as much as you can. This is a sad and disappointing event. Only good that you had luck in misfortune and no heavy traffic was there.
