This looks very nice for the price. I expect the new owner will be very happy.

Well spotted Chris. I had forgotten that one.
I am aware of the brilliant work done by Finch Restorations on this Morgan and I am very surprised it did not sell for more.

Yes Finch has a fantastic reputation and from looking at that car it is extremely well done. Considering it is only 2/3rd the price of this Plus 4 on car sales .https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/2015-morgan-plus-4-manual/OAG-AD-21762572/?Cr=1 it was a great price, I agree it is surprising it did not get higher.

Looking at a few cars in that auction the prices seemed lower than I expected, quite a nice MGTF for $26,000 as an example. A HQ 2 Door Monaro that unfortunately has a fair bit of visible rust didn't even get a bid, a couple of years ago they were selling for stupid money even if they were rusty.

Chris, even if you include commission on the sale I think this MOG was undervalued by 20 to 30 grand given the very high quality of the restoration.
I have seen similar vintage Plus 8's in this country sell for the same money but nowhere near as well restored or presented.
As I said on the Morgan Owners Club of Australia social media page - Bargain....

Gary, Yes I wish I had seen it and bought it, but then I would be sleeping in it so maybe a good thing I saw it after the auction. Too cold in Canberra at the moment to be sleeping outside.

To me, the early range of the Plus 8's represents the best of Morgan.
They exude traditional "Morgan" culture, are easy to work on, have plenty of go and look fantastic....
