Tomorrow should be heading for the AV8 cafe at Kemble (Cotswold) airport as a Spitfire is supposed to be running passenger flights. We have a table booked for lunch, so with the nice weather, taking the Morgan seems to make sense. smile

Would have joined you Graham, but we're marshalling at Coventry motofest, before heading up to Leeds for Harewood hillclimb on Sunday. Hope you have a good day, and all goes well Mogwise.
P.S I was P1 in Speedmog at Wiscombe after tyre clarification in the handicap algorithm thingy!
Cheers

It was a fantastic weekend and an even busier week. Don't know where to start or in which thread.
Today a date with a pal studying photography.
He had to do an exercise with a car and special effects in the background (sky)
He asked me to come to the circuit (Zolder) this morning for the perfect light that was predicted.
But as you know; you can't rely on the weather forecast.
After setup the equipment, it was waiting for the sun breaking through as promised.

After a few hours we gave up.
Now I understand actors and models complaining about hard work; Waiting can be stressful !!!!

Nevertheless, he took some pictures ant after processing, this is a first result.

An hour after we packed the sun come through, well that's life.

Nipped down to the little car meet with Mrs Image .... mostly moderns but some interesting cars nevertheless ..... heading home down a nice local road at a steady 60 and a saloon dived out of a farm track 30 ft off my bonnet badge ... was mightily impressed with how the Morgan's venerable suspension handled the resulting hard flick right then left to jink round their front end that ended closing off the whole of my side of the road .... there's no doubt a '75 four seater 4/4 could pass the Moose-Test where many more modern cars couldn't!! 😲

Mrs W joined me for a trip to Bill Rawles's monthly breakfast club. A lot of Austin-Healeys (not unexpectedly as Bill is an A-H specialist) but a good mix of other cars including two fellow SogMog members.

Mrs W's discerning eye picked out the Austin-Healey 100-6 as her favourite (above the 3000) and she would be happy for me to get one in place of the Morgan!

50 mile run around just local following an oil change. What was a surprise was my "rough" idle, was very much less noticeable. Hadn't done many miles since it's last oil change (less then 5000), but maybe since I'm using mobil 1 0w40, it's made an improvement.

Gissing, a quaint little Suffolk village, hosted a Classic Cars and Open Gardens event.
