Very nice, it put me in mind of The Boathouse at Newbridge, Bath - a fine setting on the Avon with plenty of barges and pleasure craft.
We visited a few times when calling in to see No1 daughter when she was doing her masters there.

We took a long drive yesterday along the coast with a stop at the Watch Hill Lighthouse. It was Janet's first ride since she got out of the hospital.

Thanks, Bert, there's a long treatment road ahead, but she's a fighter, and the prognosis is excellent.

Collected my 8 year old grandson from school and took him to his cello lesson. When the cello teacher came in she had been taking photos of my Morgan. It turns out her father has had Morgans for years starting with the 3 wheelers. Her parents and the three children went everywhere in their 4 seater.

An 80 mile round trip today from our temporary base at West Tanfield with lunch stop at the remote Tan Hill Inn, the highest pub in Britain, 1732 ft amsl!

Very fine drizzle lasted most of the day requiring caution on the damp narrow corkscrew road after Leyburn, athough it didn't hinder walking later whilst drumming up an appetite for lunch on the adjacent breezy Pennine Way.

That is cruel getting Leo to pull Morton up the hill to that pub. Hawki and I went to Clacton for lunch at Spoons. Not so high above MSL but decent Abbott & a lovely beef madras.

Drove past the Tan Hill Inn in the Mog a few years ago. A downpour greeted us soon after.

That’s a good hike for Leo considering his inside leg measurement. Did he succumb to a piggy back?
