To conclude my three weeks north England and Scotland tour here a few last pictures from the last days (a week ago).
We ran through Spencer's home turf (Yorkshire Dales):

The we visited the Yorkshire Air Museum and had a nice talk with one of the volunteer guides there (he also liked my car color

):

And then we had to enter the ferry back to the mainland again

Three weeks of a lot of great impressions and approximately 3700 miles door to door

(coming from Franconia...).
And the Moggi did it all very well and without any technical hiccups or problems (except the "famous" luggage rack

). Even the brakes showed no problems after last year's recall and the radiator modification preserves since last October (now over 6800 driven miles, knock on wood...). Only the sometimes "interesting" road quality might have left some impression on the car. It has now on higher speed on the Autobahn a slight kind of vibration and I will need to check for unbalances...
The car size is perfect for Scotland and the small roads in northern England!
And compared to my Scotland trip 5 years ago with my Porsche Boxster the Moggi had a far better fuel consumption

.
The Porsche had around 22 mpg for a similar trip and the Moggi averaged on 36 mpg

.

We had always a very friendly reception with the Morgan everywhere, although I did not see many other representatives of this special species

... I expected to see more Moggis on the roads...
And I found with the Lake District an interesting nice new driving territory

. I hope to have a chance to visit this area again in the future.
All together three weeks of great weather with only one evening/night with some rain. So I summed up more than 2500 miles of top down driving on the island

.
We saw a lot of great scenery, some already known from my last trip, but still a lot of great new impressions!
And finally some data on my luggage box and rack:
My dealer told me to limit the weight of any luggage on the rack to maximum 30 kg. The box and all content finally summed up to 19 kg (including fixing material). I now also know that the side screens with their bag will add up to 10 kg weight. Doing the math, this ends up on 29 kg load on the rack. The lower fixings were able to hold these 29kg only for approximately 1 to 1,5 hours...
There is for sure "room for improvement"...
Now I have to clean up my car for the next small tours to come this year. Hope to see also other proud owners here with some evidence from their tours in these great Moggis
