Did MMC fit 5 link rear suspension to later 4/4’s and if so when was this from?

The only road production cars I'm aware the factory 5 link rear was fitted to are the ARP4 and April 2018 onwards 3.7 V6 Roadster. All ARV6 race versions of the latter also had the 5 link rear.

I don't think so. Any 5 link would be the SSL retro fit

I seem to recall that the last year, maybe two, of the classic range production did introduce front and rear suspension upgrades from the factory. Found a 2019 Price and Option List for the 4/4 which doesn't mention the rear suspension kit. 2019 4/4 Price List2019 Roadster Option and Price ListHope this helps, P

I can't see any rear suspension upgrades in either price list Perry. An "adjustable platform" front suspension option was listed for the Roadsters but understood this was just the SSL RS front kit. Front and rear Aero disc brakes were another option. Guessing they were hoping to use up stocks at the end of classic production.

Good grief ! Check-out those prices from just 4 years ago. A cool c.£800 for a dealer retro-fitted Moto Lita steering wheel, and almost 10x that for a polished cowl and bonnet. Anyone who complains about CX pricing please take note !

Anyone who complains about CX pricing please take note ! Yeah, but that doesn't suit the current anti MMC narrative. Base price for the 2019 Roadster without options was £55,000. Using an RPI Calculator, that is £70,000 in todays money. Which is the base price for a current Plus Four. From the way some are talking, you'd think you could get a new Morgan for the price of a Ford Fiesta before the Italians appeared.......

On the subject if a five link rear end on the run out 4/4 or Plus 4, there's no such thing as definitive with MMC.
If there were any "left over", there would probably been a whisper to the dealers as a "special deal" on new orders. Or they would have just built a dealer car that way. So don't rule it out as a factory fit, if you cone across one.
