There were certainly some cracking pieces of machinery on display. Everything from a Bond Bug to a ridiculously long Cadillac. Our Mogs attracted a fair amount of attention as well 👍

Very interesting pics, John V6. Love the Brough Superior and the Harley-Davidson D Model. I wonder about the Aston Martin DB2. This one looks very different than usual with the high windscreen and the high roof. A sedan special body?

I also initially thought DB2 Jens although rear looked narrow and odd. The registration number shows as 1960 Morris with 948cc engine (Morris 1000) though! Despite AM badge I wonder if it's simply a nicely crafted alternate body and wire wheels. It certainly didn't have the presence or maybe width of an Aston.

I just assumed it was a kitcar. Doesn't look like an Aston at all to me

Then on with RichardV6 & the Morganeer to Friston for a local car show. Hawki showed up later as did a BSA owning friend.
Reminds me of this famous picture of T. E. Lawrence (of Arabia) racing and just beating a Bristol F2B fighter in 1926 as told by him. I had a copy on a bedroom wall.

Richard, here is a film in which the race between motorcycle and airplane has been wonderfully recreated.
