Agreed ... didn't know you could get leather from porcupines! .... no doubt they thought it was a good idea at the time.
It is a rare car from a niche, but long-standing, company ... but they're not pretty and I'd be immediately thinking of what else I could snap up for that amount of dosh

... didn't know you could get leather from porcupines! Ostrich. As sometimes seen on cowboy boots (for wearers of a certain kind). ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2023/07/25/Ostrich-boots.png)

The two tone colour is very nice, the panel fit seems very good compared to the other two, the engine looks nice and does "Lawrence Tune" mean the engine was built by Chris Lawrence owner/driver of TOK? If so that would help explain the high price. But not a fan of the Ostrich leather, it looks shocking to me. Maybe it looks better in real life, or maybe whoever has €103,000 also has enough to get it redone in maybe red leather as per the original car.

OZ!!! Where have you been? Good morning PaulyG (afternoon your time) I've been travelling and the site was very slow to connect so I thought I'd take a rest. This brilliant forum is now back to speed and I have returned home.... Laters.....

I'm a big fan of the classic T- Bird and wasn't too sure about this resto-mod. Not a bad effort even if it does look a little plastic with "Hot Wheels" tones...... 1957-ford-thunderbird - Custom
