Thanks everybody for your comments. I'm not actually sure whether my cats are 200 or 400. They came with the car along with a full stainless Librands exhaust and manifold fitted probably about 5 years ago. I suppose I was hoping someone would say fine, no cat needed but this does not seem to be the case. I've no intention of taking the cats on and off at MOT time. I must say though I am surprised just how quite the car is with this exhaust, almost refined and nothing like my 1975 +8 which had a stainless system with big bore manifolds but no cats! The thing is, I'm 20 years older now so should appreciate the quieter ride. Or am I just going deaf in my old age? Other cars on the raod certainly seem to be travelling a lot faster than they did 20 years ago. Thanks again for the input. Paul

They are Paul. Not to say modern drivers are competent to do the same though...

Paul......Librands have only just moved to the 400 cell cats since last summer so yours are probably 200 cell.
