It seems that nothing new is coming out of the factory, there is no date set for production to start, nothing about homologation, nothing about the cars diet, nothing at all in fact, and even we few, who are as keen as mustard, can't think of anything more that can be said. What a sad state of affairs. It seems that the factory has shot its' bolt a little early or maybe they are just a little complacent with 800 orders in the bag?

Better to take your time and get something right than to send out an inferior product that flops on it face. Being as Morgan isnt your typical motor manufacturing company and much of the M3W is outsourced, things are just taking longer to get the product to where they want it.

The alternative would be that they rush something out and after outstandingly negative reviews, they lose a large portion of their preorders. Its never easy to keep customers waiting, but I applaud Morgan (at least how it seems) for working to get things right the first time.

The problem is they are quiet even when you ask them for information.
I believe if you have given them a deposit, they at least owe you the courtesy of an update.

I agree, I paid my deposit almost a month ago and no further information. I at least would expect a letter from Morgan thanking me for letting them invest my deposit for a year. I don't expect much but regular updates would be nice.

According to Mogwire the M3W workers were coming back a week earlier than the rest of the factory. So hopefully customer cars should be on their way soon......mind you, my dealer still hasn't got his demonstrator frown

I agree about getting the product right from the off, but as Craig indicated, treating us more like valued customers would be nice and frankly a bit of positive PR would do no harm.

I've given the factory the benefit of any doubt, like most of us, but I'm thinking they were premature in launching the car last year, and have now lost the initial impetus of all the road tests that appeared then.

How are they going to create all that interest over again when production starts, or will the initial 800 order be fulfilled and then production will drop way down? I half suspect that with all their other new products on the go, the M3W project has been consigned to a little wooden shed at the perimeter of the site and an old man and a dog are slowly sorting out the problems? [Incidentally, there's nothing wrong with old men, I'm soon likely to be one at this rate and I have 3 dogs!]

I fully agree with Mike, the management of this business is a complete joke. I think if I had known what I know now I would never have got involved with Morgan products. If most of us on here ran our affairs like this we wouldn't be in business for long. In the current climate it's hardly good enough.

It would at the very least be courteous to give waiting customers some updates on progress.

I'm nearly at the stage now where I could walk away.
