Here is the Dino of the friends we went to Goodwood with this year :

That Dino is lovely and the best colour, I too was at Goodwood this year and I suppose travelled further than most to attend , the racing was great -the heat severe (in my outfit) -I much prefer this event to the FOS which I have attended twice, love the food drinks and cigar sellers -you would never see that in NZ. Loved Jenson pushing that little 1570cc Giulietta against opposition with many litres bigger engines, some of the revs those old Austins were pulling! They would have blown to bits back in the day. The Spitfires at morning and night were superb and on the Sunday the demonstration of wet weather driving with Andy Priaulx driving the rapid E against the gruntier Cobras was a masterclass. Didnt wander (on foot) back to our nearby accomodation till late each night there was so much to see after watching on line for the last couple of years. Surprised to see not many Morgans in the carpark -at least we saw a good club gathering at Silverstone a few weeks prior and some good Morgan racing up there. I didn't know the version "Chairs 'n Flares version"
My friend has owned this car for over 25 years.
He bought it at the time for 400,000FF (French francs, before Euro) = around £53,000
The price has changed a little since then.

I didn't know either, so I googled it:
Chairs = Daytona style seats; Flares = A piece of sheet metal extending out from the wheel arches so the tires could be wider and still pass the safety regulations.

Our friends Diane and Danny were there too. But I don't know if they took their Bentley.
Their car is a Welsh made replica.
