Not a concours car by any means, but raced extensively in period by its then owner, John Looker. Its competition history is in "Morgan - The Heritage Years" by J Alderson & C Chapman. Did anyone else spot it?

Possibly a case of wanting to get the money back that was put into creating a 'special' car .... that never happens ... if you build something special and niche, you do it for you ... not the resale value. To my mind once you get beyond the BHP bragging rights that's unlikely to be a car with a good balance of dynamics or a pleasing road car to drive in real life.

I think this auction tells a very sad story. It's a tough market out there as we can see from the recent 2016 M3W auction re-run This vehicle was offered as virtually a brand new car with a ticket price over US$70,000, the best they could get was US$49,000 US$ 50,000 seems to be a real barrier for the M3W in any format or age on this auction site..... 2023-morgan-super-3-classic
