For 6 days God worked hard on his Creation. On the 7th day he declared it a Sunday and day of rest.
St Peter said to him “You deserve it for the wonderful Creation “
“Thank you Peter was the reply. However, I would like to indulge myself. “
Off he goes and over that Sunday he created a wonderful land of green valleys, gorgeous hills, fish in the rivers and the most wonderful people in the world.
“There you are Peter I am naming the land Wales” he said.
Peter saw this and replied “ that is awesome but why have you been so generous to those people, making them so good and giving them the perfect land?”
God replied “ it’s not all good, Peter. Wait until you see the neighbours I have given them”
