Check if you need screw in posts if buying one though. I re-used the ones that were on the original.
I’ll see if I can find the battery details. I might have posted them in an older topic here. Passed all paperwork on when I sold the car earlier this year.

you are fortunate my 02 +8 got through 4 DMS Red Flashs / Odyssey PC 925s in the first five years. A single full discharge seemed to kill them. In the end I relocated the location to the rear and replaced with conventional Lead Acids

Very wise Brian thumbs . Batteries are consumables. The most expensive batteries with the greatest longevity will ultimately only serve to prolong the stage where their performance is marginal in cold weather.

I can draw parallels with an expensive Panasonic toughbook laptop I bought many years ago. It refused to die but I was stuck with the outdated hardware. Would have obtained far better performance over the years by buying three cheaper ones as hardware improved and for the same cumulative price.

Well said Richard! After going through every silly expensive battery ever made I learned that only two things are important about Morgan batteries.

1. Place it where it best balances the car which is invariably in the rear axle compartment on the passenger side (unless your life partner is 15-25 kilos heavier than you are).
Do NOT let your Morgan's comportment by prejudiced by the MMC choice.

2. Choose a battery size that can be found at any factor/automobile supplier open on a Sunday and stick to it.
