Presumably, we have to sign up to a separate account on this tm-img site?
Jeez.
Cheers, Colin
There's a reason for this Colin. Several years ago TalkMorgan started to run VERY slowly. As part of trying to find the reason, uploading photos direct was pretty much disabled (minimal size files that you'll never squeeze a photo into). You could post a photo into a new thread in the photo section and link from that, but most of us use an external photo hosting site. TM-IMG was started after Phototbucket decided to charge members if their photos were linked from another site (basically holding members to ransom). TM-IMG is owned by Peter (Gambalunga) assisted by Tim (Hamwich) providing an excellent photo hosting site, run on a voluntary financial contribution basis, as is TalkMorgan.
@Mybluemog - you were nearly there, but missed the final step as quoted by John V6:

No worries Colin. There are many who have joined post the "Go-Slow" period who do not know why things are as they are If you have any problem using TM-IMG, both Peter and Tim are very helpful (and friendly! - better get that one in ).

Graham, whats's the 'recommended' Privacy setting on tm-img?
Will 'private (with link)' work, if I am posting links here?
Cheers, Colin
No "Privacy" thing involved - you may need to click on an image twice on tm-img, but you should find a list of "embed codes" below the photo. Scroll down and copy the "BBcode" version, and just paste the text into the normal text editor when composing a post or reply on TM. If you click on "Preview Reply" it will show the image, if you have pasted the correct text!
Jon, if you click on 'create new album' (as I am likely to have at leas a couple of different sets of images) it prompts you for a name and privacy settings for that album...
I leave mine as "Public" Colin. Allows any TM-IMG member to see them. But I only save photos I'm going to link to from a couple of online forums. (Thanks Jon for picking up on this - lost track of time whilst programming radios yesterday ).
