Spotted this on fleabay it seems cheapYes it does. And the UK phone number makes no sense and the plates are non-UK. Copying an honest seller's pictures, presenting them as your own under another "name" and getting some person's deposit is very easy and common. Just report it to ebay and it will gone tomorrow.

Yep, scam, someone hijacked the sellers account and listed numerous vehicles by copying details from other sale sites and putting stupidly low prices.
Its an attempt to con people into paying deposits.
Regular occurrence on Ebay and although I report them it seems to take an age for them to be taken down.

It could well be a scam they seem to 300 plus cars for sale. Spotted this on fleabay it seems cheapYes it does. And the UK phone number makes no sense and the plates are non-UK. Lorne the phone number is correct in the sense the COOP over the road is 01443450072 according to google maps & their number is an 01443 code as well. It also says the car is an import but the plate is a UK one I would say as I read it as X503 MLN . Though the lack of a front plant is a worry. I would never buy a car of ebay unless I had been to the garage & seen it. Caveat emptor

The chap has well over 50 nice vehicles for sale all photographed in a variety of locations and all priced well below market expectations. It’s a scammer looking for a bite and a quick ‘holding deposit’. They’ll be gone in 6 hours.

It is a legit UK phone number, and it is a UK number plate.
Thankfully as the business has a registered address it would be easy to pop along and check, or phone the other number listed for them 01443 450450.

Just had a look at their other ebay offerings and there is an MG RV8 for sale on there. Easily found the exact same car for sale on Car and Classic for double the price!
Definitely a scam!

Definitely a scam! You can see the reg on that one and the MOT was passed in Oct 23 at 81k miles. The add shows 79,875 miles.

It's the same with Facebook, literally hundreds of cars listed at stupid low prices all can be found on Auto trader at the correct price with a real owner.

I am sure this was adverised last month by a Garage in London.They were offering cheap classic cars a RV8 Mg for 15 k also.
nothing to do with the Garage.
