Dodged the floods and puddles to reach Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, Flixton. Sidled up to the '56 Hawker Hunter. As you do... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2024/03/02/IMG_5339.png)

No rain today & oodles of lovely spring sunshine so I met up with Chris at the Anchor in Walberswick for lunch. Had a truly wonderful drive on dry roads in spring sunshine back home on the twisty Suffolk B roads via Leiston, Snape,Tunstall,Rendlesham & Woodbridge. Heaven though every pig farmer did seem to be out muck spreading. ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2024/03/06/20240306_122139.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2024/03/06/20240306_132706.jpeg)

Just 20 yards onto the road so the other 'classics' could have their bi annual photos for the valuation docs. Is it just me but has parking become ridiculous post Covid ? Doesn't anyone actually go to a 'workplace' now ?

Good run out in the 4/4 yesterday. Put a nice tankful of E5 and found a good road to work the suspension. I was going to have another run today, but ended up cutting the grass! (2stroke strimmer started after its winter rest; after being purged with neat E5) Bud 4/4 - Stanley

Today I fired up the old Mog for my first run of this year, only having covered perhaps just over 300 miles last year and much the same for perhaps the last three years...
This run was a bit different from others before in that it was a back to back with a run the first of which I had just enjoyed in my C4S over the same intended road and at similar pace, mostly dual carriageway, though when I arrived at the turn off to head back home in the Morgan, I carried on out into the countryside and on to my local favourite road, jeez the Winter has taken it`s toll on the road surface which in turn exercised not only the Morgan`s suspension, but no doubt the available flex in the chassis and all else, but then that is exactly why I bought a Morgan, to provide a pseudo vintage driving experience in that which is a beautiful hand built machine.
If you might have read anything I have typed re my appreciation for air cooled 911`s and their modern derivatives you might understand I have been a fan of the marque to some extent for a few decades, however my back to back run seemed to underline that on just the right kind of day on the right kind of road and perhaps only just on occasionally nudging the speed limit when free and clear... The old Morgan is still by far the most rewarding driving experience, even at my age...Which I have to admit is somewhat pleasing....(-:

A slightly more mundane journey in the Morgan today but essential nonetheless and in beautiful weather! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2024/03/09/IMG_3858.md.jpeg)

Car looks great. Very envious of the sunshine; it’s chucking it down and freezing cold here in East Devon Bud 4/4 - Stanley
