Really sorry to read of the loss of an old furry friend Keith , as an animal lover I have lost cats and dogs in my time, and the world is a very different place after the loss of the degree of affection provided to us which we can become so used to, even take for granted, until the day it is no longer available to us.

My favourite cat looked very much like yours, I remember going to the cat and dog home to find a puss, and there he was large as life, and padding back and forward across the front of his cage like a lion, no doubt scaring most folk off, which was fortunate for me, as I enjoyed BIG TAM`s antics over many a year...(-:
