It was as 6 hours on the way up, as the A35 was shut in Dorset.
swear

On the way back we were battling a strong headwind, so kept the speed down.
Also, of course, I obey the many speed limits.

Spring has (finally) well and truly spring here in the New Forest. Hope it stays as sunny for Drive It Day on Sunday smile

Amen to that. But after driving to Wimpole Hall & back yesterday (about 160 miles) for a FringeMog event Belle got filthy on the A14 in the hail storms & showers coming home.
However the weather was lovely for walking the grounds even if my injured ham string was saying otherwise.
Thanks to the NT guides who were Mog owners & Cheryl for organising such a nice day out.

Great drive it day outing in Morton. Morning visit to Krazy Horse arranged by Anglemog.

Leo our Lhasa alongside namesake.

Then onto the Horseshoes Inn at Cockfield for lunch where we saw this lovely Triumph Gloria supporting the marque.

This rare AC Greyhound joined us. Then onto Kersey Mill classic car meet arriving a little late but still managing to see a few cars of interest plus this selection of resident Clyno cars and even a bike of the marque.

Surprisingly, not a lot of classics around in these parts for Drive It Day. Several classic MGs and a lot of Fiats (500 and Barchetta rallies, impressive to see). We did about 100 miles around the New Forest (busy on the roads) and in North Dorset on Cranborne Chase (almost deserted roads). Sunny but chilly, and most enjoyable, including a cream tea with old pals.
