Very nice looking model an very well build! I like Details like the nice wooden stand. But nearly 1m length? I would get in trouble with my wife

It must have given you many hours of pleasure and enjoyment whilst assembling the boat, which looks fantastic. So what's next? Many, many hours John  The very next thing is to bring this ship to Fairhaven Lake one evening to take her maiden voyage. Just waiting a pleasant (dry) evening. Something that's been in short supply around here as you know....... Ian, prior to the official launch I used to wait until SHMBO went out 'shopping' fill the bath and test and adjust ballast to trim the levels, you can also carefully run the motor and check the prop shaft and rudder shaft for leaks I have to admit getting inpatient some years ago due to bad weather and testing a Windermere steam launch indoors, I was having such a great time, but didn't appreciate the oily tide mark of evidence, eek
