Our pilgrimage tour from Switzerland to UK led us to Stoke Lacy, hometown of the Morgan family. It is a small, often overlooked place to visit but a very important space and moment in time that further embraces owners into the universe that is Morgan. A tribute to the person who made all our odisseas possible.

After breakfast there was a tour through the beautiful region between Brussels and Charleroi.

With more than 70 Morgans, it was quite a queue at departure.

After 120 beautiful Km we were back at Morgan Belgium and between food and drinks we could admire the new PlusFour.

It takes some getting used to those novelties, but it always looks better in real life than on photo.

The only thing I have a bit of a problem with is the license plate lighting at the back.

But it can be useful during a picnic or so. hide

That looks like a lovely meet up! It’s images like this that make me want to add a Morgan to the garage. Lovely.

Very tidy garage. I hope you enjoy your trip to Spain, many years back we used Los Romanes as a base and toured much of Andalucía from there in the old Mog...

Today fired up the old Mog and went to visit friends I had not seen in a while, they having just finished restoring the other type of Mog, a Morris Traveller it looked resplendent with all it`s new and highly varnished woodwork, looking at the old A series brought back a lot of memories...only 70 mile round trip overcast but the rain stayed away...(-:

We were out in the Roadster to catch the late sun last evening. For a while I have wondered if I have "Roadster spring sag", what do you reckon ? And if the answer is yes, should I just spend the money on an SSL 5-leaf rear conversion ? (I have the SSL front).

This Roadster (from BertR) is nearly identical to yours, and also comparing, I wouldn't. say I see a spring sag on both. My own experiences are my 34 years old 4/4-4 seater with still its original rear springs, I only invested in new Kona's front and rear and and new springs with rebound springs in the front, and ofcourse Kingpins. My new PlusFour is a different story, just a smooth ride, with less road clearance compared to the 4/4 (due to exhaust system).

Well LOTW

I'd say it looks ok to me. the spacing looks right bearing in mind the roadster has 16" rims and they look fairly well centred in the arches too! Not favouring a forward position as so many do.

If they are seeming a little lower than they have been try getting he leaf springs cleaned out and re-lubricated. I find a good few treatments with penetrating oil/fluid and bouncing the car up and down fairly aggressively between treatments frees and cleans things up very effectively then when the springs start to dry I use a fairly light oil with a syringe and inject oil into the springs, again bouncing the car to spread the oil about.

When these springs get dry they tend to hang up and hold the car slightly lower than it would naturally sit as rust particles act as an abrasive and hold the springs against achieving their full travel and cleaning and lubricating really can sort things out.

For those with a sag to one side, you might be very surprised how this can cure that too! It also returns a ride you will be most pleased with as well!

Thanks both. I haven't lubed the rear springs in about 4k miles, so must get out the purple ACF-50 spray.
