Did anyone watch the opening ceremony this evening? I thought it was exceedingly tedious, most of it could have been done in half the time without losing the effect.
The individual performances were well done but far too long.

The minions stood out as the best part. I hope they win medals. The rest was dire.

I'm surprised someone actually watched it. You get a medal for endurance.
I just hope the TV coverage of the events concentrates more on the action rather than a group of has-beens (aka "Pundits") wittering on for hours.

The worst part as always were the pundits commenting on the dross you had just endured

Got this from a lady ex work colleague who returned home after 30 years of living in the UK. I still miss her she was batshit crazy but such an efficient worker and easy on the eye and great company to be with. I wish to apologize as a French citizen for the rubbish opening ceremony of the olympic game.
