Screwholes in exact the same positions as the OEM? So an easy swab?

The other day there was a wet spot on the garage floor.
Slight panic.
After checking, it turned out not to be coolant but window cleaner.
Panic gone.
The leak came from the reservoir.
Took it out for inspection.

Damage caused by the mounting bracket.(Sharp edges)

It's just a hairline crack, so I went for glue. This type of plastic (PE) is not easy to glue. But we are already a few hundred Km further and it still holds.

Replacement is still possible. We'll see.

Yes and Yes - adjusting the mirrors took an age but comparison.

Mattmog, easy option is just don't fill it to the top, washer fluid not used much anyway with a tiny windscreen on a Mog, plus less weight for the bracket to support.

i never fill mine more than just over half, as the bottle is quite heavy for all that harsh vibration and a very basic bracket design

Not long now Richard, we are going to have an absolute blast on the Isle of Wight, there will be many high lights each day and what a fantastic Island, there should be many other beautiful cars too as IOW have their annual car show on the Sunday, one pub we are visiting will have 50 MX5 cars joining us!!!!!

How would you like to run a quiz night at one of the evening dinners, we do have Tim the ex Jaguar racing driver giving us an after dinner talk and of course the Sunday circular island driving tour as he knows the roads on island well.

Some of the group are on the Waverley (last of the ocean going steam paddle boats) round the island cruise too!

Fun, happiness and friendship that is much the MogFriends mantra.

Hello MATTMOG. What a coincidence. Same happened yesterday to my 2019 Plus4 (Traditional) after 41000km. Reservoir looks exactly as yours. Brown scratch where fluid touches the mounting bracket. Intermediate solution with max level tape.

Took all wheels off Morton including spare. Kept one with most tread left as new spare and loaded up LR with the other four to have new Continental Premium Contact 7 tyres fitted. Usual excellent service from A & B Tyres on nearby Roudham estate in South Norfolk. The four 205/55R16 tyres, ordered the day before, were fitted and balanced in under 20 minutes for an amazing £90 + vat each which includes scrappage of old. Highly recommended, they have the cones to balance centre lock wires and do this to zero grams on their machine, offering choice of clip-on or stick-on weights.

The OE ZV7's still had plenty of tread left after 32,000 miles but had hardened off after 6.5 years. New ones feel so much softer.

That is a great deal Richard. Isn't amazing how better the ride is with new tyres
