It is a Sunday so of course this is the day for finding what is broken. The plastic locking/release tab is broken on the left hand side of the hood windscreen rail. I can buy a new one from BHM for the princely sum of thirty six quid but I only need the plastic tab. Do any of you goods folks happen to know if that little piece can be purchased somewhere ? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Doubt very much the plastic part alone is available. At least the complete catch is readily available and not an outrageous price as some. Also available here.

I'm in the same position with one side broken. Richard is correct in his thinking you have to replace the whole part. Listed as a winter task for me.

Ordered one from BHM. As helpful as ever. The only thing I miss about England and I can fully understand why folk travel from Europe to them.
