Thank you to all who made this holiday possible and to those who took part, no squirrels were harmed whilst on holiday! Our event/holiday planning group are now looking at the 2025 holidays and short breaks!
We look forward to seeing our friends at Krazy Horse for the 'Best of British event' 21st September and also at the Diss Transport Show 22nd September.

Drove Morton to display at Diss Festival of Transport show organised by Chris from MogFriends. As route took me via Norwich had plenty of opportunity to check out new Continental Premium Contact 7 tyres. Very confidence inspiring with reduced understeer into tight corners following them as if on rails and much reduced oversteer when booting it out of them. Weather not perfect and we did have a good soaking for 45 minutes whilst there but sun then slowly crept out so was able to arrive and depart top down.

A neat Rover V8 conversion on MGBGT. Like the factory option this didn't require the bonnet bulge.

Drove across to Bedfordshire yesterday to stay with friends before a visit to Allon White today. Well yesterday, that part of the world got hammered by storms and the Plus 4 sat outside taking the full force of the associated torrential downpours all night. It's fair to say that a little bit of rain found its way inside but nothing a good towelling couldn't dry off. Then today with the A421 closed due to flooding we had to take an alternate route to Cranfield which meant crossing the road bridge over the A421 at Marston Moretaine. The waters continued rising all day and Mrs FT snapped this pic from the bridge as we set off for home this evening. The road disappearing into the water at the top of the pic was quite surreal and if you look closely (just below the triangular warning sign) you can also see the boot lid of a car that didn't quite make it through! Driving back to Suffolk the rain eased then stopped and the roads got drier and drier - very welcome!
