Followed Mrs FT to the Jaguar Land Rover dealer at Norwich to have some recall work done on her (9 year old) Evoque then took her to John Lewis in Norwich for her to buy herself a frock for Christmas events. If I'm honest I hate "shopping" but we did have a nice lunch from a Chinese street food stall in the Town centre market place. I have to say that JLR have upped their game in the poshness of their dealerships, especially their "front of house" reception which is easily at Porsche standards now. In fact, from what I can remember of the Porsche dealerships I frequented, JLR's coffee is better. Photo in John Lewis's car park for reference. Nice drive there and back.

600 km with only one stop for coffee and fuel leaving Barcelona port at midnight to arrive in Bilbao at dawn. Early checkin at the hotel followed by breakfast and a 3 hour sleep.
That's brave! You are early for the Spanish event. So you have extended pre-event. I wish you a pleasant stay and a nice fete! One of our MSCCH members (the chair) will also attend the Spanish event. Must be very nice. I thought about it, but we are to busy and already travelled a lot this year, with the Morgan! Enjoy your stay!
Accidentally posted in the wrong thread. I intended to post in the "So have you driven your morgan today?" thread. I will reply in that thread.
No. For various reasons we are not joining the Spanish event. We were somewhat inspired by the idea, I will admit, but in the end decided to do our own thing. We have been to this part of Spain several times before.
Following a few hours wandering around the old town of Bilbao on Monday afternoon we visited the Guggenheim yesterday and then drove to Solares where we are spending 3 nights in a spa hotel. Tomorrow we plan to visit Santander and the day after we are booked into an amazing little hotel on the coast.
In Bilbao I can strongly recommend the Hotel Vincci Consulado de Bilbao. 100 metres from the Guggenheim, very reasonable prices, more than excellent service from the staff (polite, smiley, willing to do that little extra), modern, clean as a whistle, excellent breakfast, and underground parking for the Morgan.
