Nice pictures. Mrs W & I visited Stratford-upon-Avon last week. I took a picture of that statue too, between the Shakespeare gift shop and the Shakespeare antiques centre, just by the Shakespeare bookshop overlooking the Shakespeare distillery. Did you notice who the statue was of, I forgot to look?

Another cracking road trip in the Six last week. From London to Silverstone to the Lotus dealer. I stopped in at JLR Classic Works in Coventry on the way North, definitely worth a visit they had some incredible stuff & do a workshop tour once a week. Then up to the Peak District, for some stunning roads and scenery. After a night in Stratford upon Avon I popped by SL shop, the place is incredible. So many beautiful cars and they will pretty much do anything SL related. I’m very tempted by their 300SL Sportline. Then stopped in at Caffeine & Machine and Gilks Cafe. Keith the owner of Gilks was very welcoming, a lovely little spot with great food. Given a wonderful autumn day with 20c I drove to Krazy Horse via Lavenham to see a demo on car detailing attended by many AngleMog & FolkMog members. A true fun day out after a very very wet Sept. The car has now done 6160 miles and the weighted avg fuel consumption is 39.94 mpg. by comparison my 3.7l Roadster achieved 29mpg weighted avg.
