Yes £35k is rather hopeful even given it being one of the first off the line. I think I know the bike. When they come up they seem around the 20k mark now.
Silver and blue was always my preferred colour but like always none to be found when I was looking around. I even thought about a colour change on mine but it seems wrong to do on such a straight bike.
Good luck with your bargaining!

Well, trying to figure out how to post pictures that are hosted on the facebook to no avail.

I have a nice '09 street triple, took it out for a ride yesterday.

This shot was taken on a weekend trip to Watkins Glen, New York. That's me in the front with my 2002 Harley Road King. The one in the middle with the Beemer is my buddy Phil and the third one is my brother with with his 2010 Harley Road King.
The photo was taken at the Seneca Lodge where we had just had breakfast.

Here are my current bikes:

The first one is also my first bike. I got it from my father in 1985 and he drove it from 1953 to 1985.
It is a Zündapp 200 ccm 8,6 HP with a Steib LS 200. Everything is in first class condition and the bike is driven each year a few hundred KM.

My new daily bike is the all new CVO HD Deluxe MY 2015. I picked it up a few weeks ago and had no chance to drive it so far. But I will be on a trip through south Europe next spring.

Just added this low mileage original K5 to my collection. Just needs a change fluids and tyres and she’ll be a great usable classic.

Crazy to think this is a 20 year old design. Contemporary 1000cc sports bikes these days are just too much for the road and I can’t be doing with all the electronics.

A few that spring to mind were CZ175, VFR800, Commando, ST1100, GS1200 x 3, KTM990, and currently a Triumph Tiger 800.

Without a doubt the best everyday all rounder were the 1200GS which is why I had 3 of them or at least 2 of them the third being written off by Angharad Lewis. The worst bike by a long way was a Harley Sportster which was unreliable, uncomfortable and crude as allegedly are all Harleys.

My wife loved the ST1100 but disliked the GS because of the hunched up jockey like seating for pillions. Since I didnt really like having a pillion, I had 3 GS.

The current Triumph has the best engine of the lot - a silky smooth 800cc 3 cylinder
