Good morning I am the proud owner of a 2010 3.0L Roadster absolutely love it coming upto 60000 trouble free km all in DUBAI and the surrounding emirates, im about to carry out a major service and I will be fitting new brake shoes on the rear and pads on the front , can anyone advise me on the correct Parts to order,in the UK? Also what is the correct paint code for Royal Ivory. Thanks in advance.

I used the same Chipex code and Chipex works well on my Royal Ivory 1990 4/4! Something different for my PlusFour Bentley Midnight Emerald dark green. At the end I had go to my BMW garage, who also have a repair shop, which is used by the local Porsche and Bentley dealer too! They had it scanned, it proofed to be a Pearl Metallic paint and they were able to produce a tiny little bottle for me. As I am a regular BMW customer with them since long, they did it for free...! That is what I call service. the paint wasn't cheap if they had billed it for me. Service!!!!
Royal Ivory is straight forward!

Steve, unless you have done galactic mileage it's very unlikely the rear shoes will be worn (60k is not high)
More important when stripping the rear brakes is the state of the rear wheel cylinders which often suffer corrosion, partial seize-up and ultimately leak fluid
Front pads are dead easy, whilst in there check front wheel bearing play (which can be carefully adjusted)

My Roadster is also from 2010 but is described as Sport Ivory and the code from Glasurit Classic Car colours is SM004 . 50 if that helps.

The best advise we have on here from our TM professional Dean-Royal is to always get it scanned first. He offers impartial advise to TM'ers. He used to have the baby blue Aeromax but has defected to Porsche territory. p.s. We are not touching up a knocked up old wreck here  are we ?

My 2011 car is Royal Ivory. But it has darkened over time & hence the touch up supplied by the factory is no where near a match.
4/4 Ivory 4.1:1 axle, Mercedes A200 AMG
