Thanks for posting the pics Clipper. Interesting reg you have, I think one of the early Porsche club members was Betty Haig, who had a similar reg. I believe she was the daughter of Earl Haig... of Your Country Needs You posters.. That was Kitchener. Haig was the "Butcher of the Somme"..... Many thanks for the correction TBM, would have replied sooner, currently operating well outside my normal routine, sorry.

Anonymous, that's a stunning colour, makes your Plus Four look so fresh! : Yes, we are very pleased with it (having not seen a paint sample before it arrived from the factory - we were quite nervous!). It is Etna Blue, originally a 1960s Porsche colour. I thought it captured the old/new character of the Plus Four rather well.

Well today I found the owner of the local Black Plus 6 which occasionally has a Morgan factory hard top on it . It was not the hipster pub owners vehicle but a shop a few doors away. Outside was a motorbike with massive pipes and engine. Looked very attractive in a butch sort of way. It was a Triumph Rocket . Any good? Well he was the owner of the bike and the car, auto, comfort seats, 3 years old, had no problems and drove it to the South of France last year. Done about 15K miles. He also has a three wheeler -Super sport 3 wheeler (?) ( I never got involved with the 3 wheeler - only the BMW Isetta in my yuff) . It was a mates and we often went to school in it, roof open me standing up hanging out , going down the prom. One time we ‘broke into’ the BASC diving club I helped to build , drank too much, went to Derby baths for a school gala and nearly drowned John !! Sadly he will be the wrong side of the grass in a couple of months .
Just found it interesting to chat with the Morgan guy but he seems keen to know what the next Morgan model will be and buy one . He says dealers seem keen to take his back !?? Best MM PS So many got their wish today or the road to it……RIP
